Avocado oil is obtained from the pulp of the avocado fruit (Persea Gratissima), a tree that grows mainly in Mediterranean countries, the southern United States, and southern Africa.
The oil content of the fresh pulp is 30% and the liquid obtained after pressing has a green to reddish-brown color and a characteristic odor, with a high chlorophyll content.
Properties: It is one of the most easily absorbed oils by the skin. In cosmetics, it is used in many preparations, including lipsticks.
Softens, strengthens, and protects the epidermis. For dry, fragile skin prone to splitting or cracking.
